Here comes RWMF! Beat the Haze!

It is super hazy over this side of the world. Thank God the API has not reached a hazardous state. The haze is so bad that I could not see anything at all when the plane touched down in LCCT. Yes, I have been away for a month in Perth!

I was being pampered by the cool air so much that I am missing every bit of it. It is hot, humid and smoking hazy here although I must say I am thankful for water for many in this world do not have water with heat scorching their faces. I miss tucking in under cosy warm fleece blankets and walking in style with layers of cool jumpers over tight leggings. Over here, I am mostly in flip flops and shorts aka beach style unless I am going to church.

Regardless of the crazy weather, I am glad to be home. I have decided to move back to my hometown after staying away from Borneo since 2001. It is a sudden decision but I am happy to make that move. Whether it’ll be a permanent stay or a transit to somewhere else, I dare not say.

As for now, there is something I really look forward to.

I have just bought my ‘Rainforest World Music Festival’ tickets. I will be joining thousands of others flying from all over the world to witness a myriad of exotic musicians strutting their music in the heart of the rainforest!

I used to go every year till 2007 and I stopped going. I seemed to have something happening around that time. This time I am back! Woot! Woot!

If you love to jingle and mingle with various cultures, races and talents from around the world jamming together to bring you the best of world music, you’re definitely in for an enchanted weekend!
